Drew Horner

Having stolen his parents kitchen utensils at a tender age in order to put on a puppet show with a friend, it was clear from the outset
that Drew aspired to be an actor. After graduating from a 3 year course at Drama Centre London, Drew cut his teeth in a number of
stage and short film productions. Although quickly landing an agent after leaving drama school, Drew made his first opportunities
by networking with other performers. Early formative work includes roles in Jonathan Moore’s ‘Fall From Light’ and
a number of films for The New York Film Academy, including ‘Pacifism’ by Catherine de Viana.

Quickly developing confidence in both mediums, Drew continued to mix stage and film work.  He made his professional debut in
Jonathan Moore’s production of ‘The Revengers Tragedy’ at The Royal Exchange in Manchester before working with the company
'Merco' (founded by David Mercatali) and filming the short '20:21'
, directed by good friend and colleague Adam Russell.
Most notably around this time, Drew performed for a 1000 plus audience in
‘Who’s Afraid of Virigina Wade’ (directed by Simon Evans)
for Kevin Spacey’s ‘New Voices – 24 Hour Plays’ at The Old Vic, which lead to memorable Meisner and Voice classes
with acclaimed Hollywood actors Jeff Goldblum and Kevin Spacey respectively.

Drew's has since become a regular performer for Paradyll Productions, an independent DV filmmaking partnership founded by
writer/director Shane James Bordas and DoP/editor Ross Taliana. To date, Drew has featured in three Paradyll Productions
including the lead role in their awarding winning short ‘Missing Christmas’ and the recently completed 'Cascade'.
Other notable film work includes  Ashar Aftab & Steve Pool’s upcoming ‘Recollections’.

His most recent stage credit is Edward Davenport's ‘Hours Till Autumn’ (directed by Simon Evans), which was performed at the
25th annual 'Lost One Act Festival' at The New End Theatre in Hampstead and garnered an outstanding on-the-spot review
from The Times theatre critic Jeremy Kingston.

Presently, Drew is forming a theatre company with Edward Davenport, Simon Evans and
Christina Gallon
which looks to produce new work that excities and challenges both audiences and performers alike
